Anyone going to the members day at Coningsby this Sunday, can tell me what time to be there, and what the format is?
It’ll be my first time, and I don’t want to miss anything.

Managed to find mine, but can’t find my membership card, however,I’ve e.mailed Stuart Stephenson to ask his advice, and as long as I’ve got the aforementioned letter,I’ll be ok.

Its not really called BBMF members day, its actually The Lincs Lanc Assoc Day. Hopefully you will enjoy it. At the moment 4 Spits, 1 Hurri, Lanc and Dak will be flying for your enjoyment, however this is subject to weather and serviceability. They all should be landing about 15.20ish. All the aircraft will be available to look at up closer than usual, and the groundcrew and aircrew are available to answer any questions you might have.
I believe that the gate will be open from 10:30 not 10:00 as mentioned above, but your LLA paperwork should confirm that for you.

Quinny.
If you cannot find your members day 2005 leaflet that was in with your Memorial Flight magazine then here is what you can do.
Admission is free for your partner/wife/husband and up to three children.
Any child over 16 then they will have to join to be member for the day, £5, or £8 for an annual membership.
Please remember to bring your membership card with you.
Gates open 10.00hrs.
Follow the signs to Coningsby on the A153, turn up Silver Street, over the crossroads into Dogdyke road, the hanger is on the left. The car park is on the right hand side of the road opposite the hanger. Be warned it fills up quickly.
The flying schedule is normally posted on a board in the main hanger.
Please also note that some aircraft could be unserviceable or unable to return to Coningsby due to weather conditions. You could phone before your travel if you have a long journey.
Have a great day and I can assure you will not be dissapointed. 🙂 🙂
Enjoy the day.
