BBMF Pictures

We here at BBMF are about to begin the process of compiling our Brochure for next year. Therefore we would like to invite forum members to tender any pictures of our aircraft taken this year they think might look good in the Brochure. We would prefer them to be sent to us on CD so that we could peruse them and select those we like. The contributor would get an acknowledge in the Brochure of course. All contributions to be sent to OC BBMF with a S.A.E if you want the CD returning

Lovely pictures, it is interesting to see the inside of a dakota with the original extra bulkhead and radio operators compartment.

Thanks for sharing, would have loved to have been there, maybe when the Devon is flying we can take it to visit its old home!

Very nice Jonathan (Yep, I didn’t bring a tripod either, perhaps we should kick each other? )

And it’s a great brochure.

It’s an excuse for a ‘*bump* but do support the BBMF if you can – you know you want to!

A couple of pics from a week Monday’s tour…

Got home from work today to be greeted by a really nice letter from OC BBMF and a copy of the 2004 brochure, and all this for sending in a CD with a few of my piccies on it from this season – bargain 🙂

There are a few familiar names amongst the acknowledgements on the back of the brochure, some of whom post here.

Hi Mark.
Just been on the phone to Chris, he did’nt read his messages
his computor was down for a week.
Phil. 🙂

Phil,

That is good news.

So perhaps the polite request to drop the coprophagous forum name and footers can be accommodated and we can move on. 🙂

Nice one Mark, no more pics from Chris in the Lanc. Why not just ask him to
change his name, he’s had it for a year don’t tell me you’ve just realised the meaning.
Phil.

Phil,

I have sent you a PM.

Do not be tiresome.

Can I just ask what kind of sizes would you like any images to be BBMF?

Funny you should mention “please”, as an ex-RAF Telepop we were required to remove all instances of the word please and replace it with words like request. It isn’t a matter of being rude, simply that serving officers (used to?) learn to avoid sentences using please and thanks for fear of some LAC altering their messages prior to transmission!

Whether that is still the case, I don’t know. I expect, with the advent of email, the rules have lapsed.

Then there’s the one about the American wondering why I didn’t salute him while indoors and not wearing a beret. Had a good chuckle at that one. I think someone in Ops (Lossie – is it still a little shack on the edge of the camp) enlightened him.
