According to the BBMF (MoD) website, the aforementioned Spitfire was issued to 203 Advanced Flying School in May 1949. Does that mean it was based at Driffield, when they operated Meteor T7 and F4s (and Vampires)? Or did this aircraft move on before 203AFS move to Driffield?

PM631
203 AFS was renamed 226 OCU on 1 September 1949 and at that date, by some references, moved from Stradishall to Driffield.
PM631 was issued to 203 AFS on 6 May 1949 and remained on strength until 13 Jan 1950 when it was transferred to 6 MU.
PM631 was coded UU-T at Stradishall in 1949.
Some official references however say the unit changed name on the 12 January 1950, which is remarkably close to the transfer date to 6 MU, so perhaps at that date the Spitfires were terminated and it is possibly PM631 did not transfer to Driffield.
