For those going to Duxford Tomorrow you will get a nice little treat. BBMF Spitfire V AB910 will be ferried to Duxford for major maintenance.

In the case of the bbmf they dont have the manpower to do a full overhaul so its best to contract out to arco where all the services are available to do the work in house.
In short, overall, it costs less*.
(*or maybe , more importantly, appears to cost less)
