Just wondering if anybody ‘in the know’ can help me?
Basically, the BBMF Dakota and Spitfire are both due over the Peterborough area this weekend and it gives me an ideal chance to go and see some historic aviation after months of nothing but Harriers and Typhoons!:D
Does anybody know what time the Dakota is due at the EofE showground on the Saturday? The timings are down for the Spitfire on the Sunday, but no mention of the C-47’s appearance times.
Also, does anybody know where abouts in Uffington, or what event in Uffington, the Spitfire is schedule to flypast? I had a scan of the internet but couldn’t find any details…

After reading another thread about the East Kirkby Dakota I dont know which one I saw on Sunday.
Was the BBMF one over Sywell or Drag em oot ???
Should have taken more notice but was just enjoying the sight 😮

I was having lunch at “The Plough” in Fen Ditton yesterday when the Flight thundered overhead, flying North along the route of the River Cam towards Waterbeach … everyone eating on the terrace just stopped talking and looked up … thanks chaps 🙂

No BBMF today due to weather, crosswinds above safe limit on taxiways.

Think you’ll find it is Sunday & Monday at EofE showground.
I think the Dakota is due to leave Coningsby approx 1355 so possibly about 1415?
