I was wondering if somebody might be able to help. Would parts fitted to the
Banshee BBT-3 have numbers with the prefix BBT-3.
A while back I found an item on the beach on South Uist which looked like an orange ball attached to a kind of mounting bracket, with a couple of pipes coming out.
On it were the part numbers
BBT3-4416-003-000
WO/108070/15
Along with
Material S/S 304
Code BS EN 287 288
Tested to 30 Bars
Ref No. 1060
The bottom line is unclear but looks like Tested 100
I have just come across the notes in by note book again and thought I would try and find out what the item was. I have tried searching the various codes but had no results apart from the BBT3 which seems to relate to the Banshee BBT3.
I know it’s a long shot, but could the item be from a Banshee BBT3? I know there is a range off South Uist, so it could be an example that has crashed or been fired at as a target.
Any help would be great.
