I’m looking for a photo of this aeroplane as G-ATZR. She is now preserved at the Queensland Air Museum as VH-UNL. Any help much appreciated.

Of course you may use it however you wish.
I suspect it was taken early in 1967 and it would have been at the Beagle firm’s company airfield of Shoreham. Again the lack of blue sky gives the game away as to the photo being taken in the U.K.
I live less than 5 miles away and was there throughout the Beagle years, during which time numerous Pups and B206s were photographed prior to delivery.
Regrettably the exact date has been mislaid but at one stage 5 or 6 B206s were stored on the airfield for a period of time in the basic colour before final painting and onward delivery to their owners.

Many thanks for the basic vanilla shot. Do you know when and where and may I use it on the QAM website please?

G-ATZR
Ron
Here’s another shot of this Beagle 206, taken in the U.K. prior to the application of the final paint scheme it appears to have been delivered to Australia in.

I love the 206 and have many happy memories as a junior spotter at Edinburgh in 1969 listening to G-ATDD and G-ASOF on my VHF radio calling OF/DD beacon outbound. It’s nice to see a picture of a virtually new airframe on delivery.

Here she is. Taken at Mascot (Sydney) in Sep 67, probably within days of her arrival in Australia. Photo via Tony Clarke.

Many thanks. I posted the same message in Historic Aviation about a week ago as the aeroplane is certainly historic to me. As I didn’t get a result I figured I should try Commercial Aviation. All academic now as I’ve just got a result so I’m happy. Thanks to all who responded.
