Following the success of the “Beer of the week” thread, I thought I’d start a new one.
What’s your favourite bear? I’ve always liked the Grizzly but really the European brown bear is just as good.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 13-04-02 AT 07:27 PM (GMT)]Bears are nice animals, but gan get very lonely during their migrations.
Therefore, they like to be accompanied by cats:
Tom-cats, of course 🙂
And there’s also the mix of the 2 kinds: the ‘Bear-cat’…

Ink,
You must realise, I included Rupert for his superior sartorial elegance! Anyone one know where I can get me a pair of those trousers?
Regards,

RE: Bear of the week?
The Koala is a classic, docile and slow when left alone but when provoked or grabbed it goes ballistic and grunts and screams like a stuck pig!

RE: Bear of the week?
Kev,
Rupert shouldn’t even be in the same sentence as Paddington. Padington is obviously by far the superior bear.

Polar bears are awesome animals but….
I’ve always had a fondness for Rupert and Paddington!

Min, watch your typo, it’s now called the KOLA Bear 😉

RE: Bear of the week?
Has to be the Koala “bear”.
Look at those fluffy ears! And it grunts funny! And stinks!

RE: Bear of the week?
Well, if I can’t choose “any Tu-142 variant”
then I’d have to go with the Polar bear… definitely the smartest bear.
(Aparantly it realises its nose is black and stands out in snow conditions and when it is creaping up on its prey it covers its nose).

RE: Bear of the week?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 12-04-02 AT 05:48 PM (GMT)]The Grizzly. There was that story about the hunter who shot one repeatedly and posed for a photo with its corpse. The bear suddenly sprung back to life, slashed the guy’s face off and stomped back into the forest, apparently none the worse for wear. 😮
Darned things are awesome.

Rabie,
Are you sure? How good is your knowledge of wildlife anyway? Maybe Carling Premier is a species of bear.
Also, always quite liked polar bears, they’re quite powerful and quite intelligent – more than a match for any other bear.

RE: Bear of the week?
Preaston i think you misread this one – its []bear[/b] rather than beer.
