Interesting that in three of the pics of the Su-33 on deck, the nose probe is folded down, but in the hangar they are not ?

She was delivered to the Northern Fleet in 1991, but it has been very on-and-off after that.

Excellant pictures there, the Kuznetsov is a great aircraft carrier. Apologies if this has come up before but how long has it been in service with the Russian navy?

Wow, look at that hanger, there’s more light in there than in any American carrier I’ve ever been on! And there’s a Froggy on a lift woohoo!

***EDIT***
I just noticed that the Froggy has it’s wings down on the lift, that’s not mnormal, Don’t they fold?
