Beech 18, 1, 2 or 3 tails?

The answer is all of them! There have been Beech 18’s with a single tail, two tails and certainly three tails. Not many people know that do they?

Well, you learn something new every day! I’d never heard of the triple tail Dumod Liner. The single tail Beech conversion looks quite sleek.

Yes, the single tail were the Tradewind conversions of the ’60s.

One is still in service on floats…it took me a moment to recognize it.
