Can anyone tell me what the eventual fate of this aircraft was? I know she was impressed as DR628 and post war was registerd G-AMBY but what happened after that.

It could very well turn up at Duxford one of these days 😉
Did you mean turn up or turn over:

But on a serious note, sorry to see this happening to a lovely aircraft. I hope she’ll be back home soon.

Jep, but this is the original one.
Just a caution…there are others out there painted in cn 295’s military attache markings. The Yanks museum example at Chino comes to mind…there may be more.

This beauty is very much still flying, based at Eindhoven (Netherlands) with Southern Cross Aviation. Lovely ship, that has just emerged from a couple of years of restoration and a full rebuild of the wooden bits. It is in immaculate condition and very well looked after by its owner. It could very well turn up at Duxford one of these days 😉

Not sure whether its grounded now, but it was flying in the UK last year at the Sally B Friends day

Currently registered as N295BS to an owner in Virgina as previously quoted, but the latest flying photo appears to be 2009, is it grounded?

AFAIK she is still owned by a ferry company and operated from The Netherlands, both as a company plane and for airshows. She has been restored in recent years and seems to be in great shape.
