Well its an Air force base and never really open to civies to they are OTT at such places, dont forget I had just come out of a War Zone with only the cloth I wa wearing and a Back Pack so its not always a good imagine and they seemed very restrictive towards me and other evaquees.

Am glad you all liked the Photos.

As for the Air Caraibs we Landed at London Gatwick Airport on a special Charter by the BFO, If I remember correctly we entered the North Terminal at Gatwick, there was a special 2 desks for The evaquees.

As for the Shinook that was awesome to see it soo Low was wow, There was a few Nice Fighters and some Military commercial Flights out of RAF Acritori but obviously I wasnt allowed to take any photos except when we got on the runway heading into the Air Caraibs plane I took the one of the Transporter.

That was one trip ill never forget ever.

PS.. Plenty of Leg room onboard the Air Caraibs plane and IFE how cool is that

Nice shots, nice to see something different!

As for Air Caraibes, well, rarely seen in the UK but we’ve had them here at MME a few times recently (last summer sometime) – what a lovely livery!

Interesting selection of photos. The A330 is very colourful, never saw it before, and also the Chinook being very close to the water at a dangerous angle! 😀

Thanks for sharing

I guess military photos arent your cup of tea heehee, but Hey who else can bring you such Historic Photos HMS bulldog was the first British Military ship in Lebanese Waters since the Second World war if my memory and History is correct, I took these photos as I accidently entered the French Ship thinking Ive missed the British one only to my horror I noticed it just as the French Ship was leaving What a Trip 14 Hours on the ship (Normaly 2-4 Hours Max).

Some feedback would be appreciated since I took the trouble to finaly uploading them heehee.

Cheers
