Belfast International

Does anyone know whats the biggest plane that belfast international can handle. Seems to be mostly small traffic

Thanks for the link. Yes it would be nice to see some of the larger stuff coming back in again. I stood for 15mins and counted 1 plane…no good!

At the moment the largest regular flights involve A330 a/c. However the airport used to handle regular B747 and An124. Hopefully the AN124 will become a regular vistor with Shorts building the Wings for the new C series a/c.

Full operational data available here shows that the runway 07/25 length should be sufficient for any current type though certain aircraft such as the A380 or An-225 would probably have problems negotiating the taxiways….

747s … it has had Airforce One on several occasions. And presumably the C5 Galaxy(s) that ferry Marine One and the Limos around too.
