Morning all,
Does anyone have a status update on the Iraqi schemed Hawker Fury that was close to flying in Belgium just over a year ago? From memory it had engine runs, was due to appear at KB, but was removed from the list and everything’s gone quiet since.

If it’s the one I’m thinking of – formerly resident in Western Australia – I’ve been waiting to see it fly for many years. Fingers crossed these are the last issues to be sorted! I bet it will make a wonderful addition to the airshow scene over there.

Kieran, their website has just been updated – from 28 Nov 2014:
Just before planning to get the Fury airborne, we unfortunately found metal in the screens and had to take the engine out. It was sent back to Vintage Radials in California for repair and we hope to get it back soon. Watch out for updates.
