Belgian Starfighter ?

:confused: On my travels across Europe i have often noticed that between Gent and Antwerp, there is a Starfighter perched on top of a container in a crane operators yard. It has been there for a few years that i know of.

But due to racing to catch the ferry, and the Belgian police do not like you stopping on the motorway for no reason i never had chance of taking any pictures.
Does anyone know where it came from ?

also the shooting star near Brussels, was that not supposed to be restored ?
