Belgium selects NH90

last night the Belgian prime minister announced the approval for the Belgian Air Component (COMOPSAIR) to buy 10 multirole transport helicopters under a 300 million euro contract, although they did not tell witch helicopter has won the down-select competition. This morning VRT radio news has announced that the NH90 has been selected to replace the seaking helicopters aswell as the Alouette III. it is also rumored that all 10 NH90’s will be based on Koksijde AB. 🙂
