Could someone help me sort out a few points about Belvederes . Did some early aircraft have a door on the portside towards the rear ? Some pictures of XG452 appear to show this and what might be the bottom rail for its slider . Did all the early aircraft have a rudder ? Finaly , I have seen a number of pictures of camouflaged aircraft in museums , most would appear to be of XG454 , but in one picture there is no main cabin door on the starboard side . This cannot be XG454 which does have this standard feature . So is this another aircraft and if so which one and why no door ?
