I rescued this from a boot sale, I was hoping it was fitted to Lancaster X but now don’t think so. Has anyone got a picture of one of these in an aircraft?
The Bendix type is MN-52B, also US part no. SC1395A and AM marked as 110L/4. It is basically just a mechanical rotator with a cable drive for the DF antenna.
I found the website below which gives a report on the total materiel supplied by the US under lend-lease:cool: – shows only 77 were supplied to the British Empire under lend-lease.
