Athiesm is a religion in and of itself.
It is belief in not believing.
What a load of rubbish, do you believe in Leprechauns or fairies at the end of your garden, if not then according to you, your religion is not believing in Leprechauns or fairies.

“Baldness is a hair colour in and of itself.
It is hairyness in non-hairyness.”
See what I did there?

I know, just teasing. Can’t figure out why I can view the item on Youtube and y’all can’t.
I don’t know about the others, but I could certainly see the YouTube vid with no problems.
I laughed and laughed and laughed.

Or my own take on it is “as there is no proof of God, then such an entity probably does not exist ” should anyone be able to supply such proof I would gladly re-examine my position

And maybe Atheism is for those who’ve tried Christianity and found it wanting?
Regards,

A quote I recently heard was that the problem with Christianity was not that it had been tried and found wanting, but that it had largely been left untried. I really think that’s likely true even amongst many so-called “churches”.

You guys should dump all of this nonsense and become Pastafarians like me 😀
Ah, you’ve been touched by His Noodly Appendage then? 😎

No, my calendar just has Christmas on it…because it is the official/legal holiday.
My Danish calendar calls it Jul. 😉

Far be it for me to disagree with a moderator!:D
Oh, perish the thought! 😀

Your calendar has never heard of Yule, then. Or Hannukah, for that matter.
No, my calendar just has Christmas on it…because it is the official/legal holiday.
I do hope you don’t cut your hair or shave (Leviticus 19:27), wear mixed fibres (Leviticus 19:19) or eat shellfish, (Leviticus 11:11) because cherry-picking which bits of the Bible you believe in would smell of hypocrisy.
And we can’t have that, can we? :p
Now you’re assuming I’m one of those who you disagree with.
Far be it for me to disagree with a moderator!:D

…Anyway, but my calendar says “Christmas”…not pagan holiday….
Your calendar has never heard of Yule, then. Or Hannukah, for that matter.
The Venerable Bede tells of how Christian missionaries were sent to Northern Europe with clear instructions to superimpose Christian motifs onto the existing local pagan feast days.
In this way Christmas was created by linking stories of the birth of Christ with the Winter Solstice festival, Yule.
Hypocrisy by any other other name…would smell the same

Who in their right mind turns down days off and/or presents whenever a good excuse arises?
Do you? 😀
Who said anything about people “in their right mind’…? This is the GD part of the FlyPast forum, isn’t it?
Anyway, but my calendar says “Christmas”…not pagan holiday.
Still, it people were to stand on their almighty principals (and the “logic” they like to lord over “believers”) they would head off to work on Dec. 25, and not buy the kiddies toys.
Hypocrisy by any other other name…would smell the same.😀

Look.
I am better than any God.
Stop arguing. Religion is wrong, live with it.

I liked the line on ‘Have I Got News For You’ last night…
Terrorist on bus sees poster saying ‘There’s Probably No God etc etc’
“Oh well, I won’t bother letting off this bomb then !” 😀
