Benin buys 4 Ex-Belgian A-109BA's

under an agreement signed between the Belgian and Benin gouverment, the Belgian Defence announced the sale of 4 Agusta A-109BA transport helicopters for the Benin Air Force. Today Benin has 2 of those helicopters on loan from Belgium (anti tank, flown by Comopsair pilots), but they are to return as soon as the new choppers arrive. the vallue of the contract is still unknown, but next to the 4 Hirundo’s, Benin has also aquirred 18 Ex-Belgian Army M113 APC’s, witch will be delivered when the small number of Pandour AIFV’s are returning home for upgrades.
