Bentwater airshow this weekend

Well, it looks set to be quite good show, weather providing. I was wondering whether some of the jets (Hunter and sabre) will be taking off from the airfield itself, or will that be dangerous, because they do a lot of motorsport on the runway and there is probably quite a lot of room for FOD.

Cheers

Whoops just realised i spelt Bentwaters wrong.

The F-86A G-SABR and Hunter G-PSST are sitting on the ramp tonight.
Great to see the F-86A do a little display before landing.

Ah, excellent, looks set to be an excellent airshow, lets hope it will be succesful and will get even better next year, and that the sun comes out in sunny Suffolk (It doesn’t quite live up it’s name today, though). Looking foward to it.

Above info is slightly out of date. The PT-19 Cornell will also be present in one capacity or another, weather permitting of course.

We were meant to have flown already this week for a few hours. Ho hum……
