Bentwaters Cold War Museum Open Day

The Hunter GA11 XE707 now has tiger stripes for the event !!, and the ex Spanish Air Force Navajo fuselage is on static display on a very interesting undercarridge 🙂

At quarter past one in the morning i thought it humourous. Apparently at lunch time it was over your head (so to speak) Happy landings.

I saw some really good airshows there over the years, and the personnel were always so friendly.
Who does the base belong to now, and is the non-air side part still intact ?

It would be nice to see one of the 81st FS hogs currently deployed at Lakenheath this week, perform a sneaky flypast on Sunday…:diablo:

No, non-resident aircraft will not be allowed to use the runway i’m afraid 🙁

I’m not sure what the airfield owners have got planned for another airshow,it would be great to think they will have one in 2012 as last years was so popular.

Does anyone know if Bentwaters will be having an Airshow next year, only i was told it will be every 2 years ,as some of the locals dont like Airshows,i was told there will not be any more Airshows at Bentwaters ?
