Thanks guys for the nice comments. All in all it was a great show, though the weather wasn’t the best and the crowd was realy getting on my nerves at times.

Unfortunately the YAK’s didn’t perform. They were scheduled to, but I guess the strong gusting winds and the low ceiling probably grounded these great Russians.

DazDaMan – no, unfortunately they didn’t perform together, but the 262 did its display twice!

Markstringer – no, there was no sign of the 190

LAHARVE – I believe they were three different models, a plain YAK-3, a YAK-3M and a YAK-3U

The Yaks did perform, but only after 6pm. Almost no one there.

Correction, the YAKs did apparently perform as I found a different thread showing photos of the YAKs in flight on the Friday. It must have been while it was seriously pouring down and I was sheltering under the nose of a Luftwaffe A310…

ACcording to another thread over in Historic, the ‘190 suffered a ground loop and is being repaired.
