Well, Hanworth and Heathrow both begin with an H and their locations are very close geographically. But if the paper is going to go to the bother of writing a piece on the anniversary, it might have just checked this rather basic fact (available on wikipedia) and discovered that there was not a Heathrow Airport in 1933 (and in any event, Hinkler’s flight didn’t start from Fairey’s Great West Aerodrome) – or asked Mick Oakey to proof read the piece before publication!
