Best Airforces based on limited spending.

I must say I was really shocked on how low military spending was on some of those nations. Countries like Greece(about 6.1 billion), Algeria(1.8), Taiwan(7.5), Sweden(4.3), Syria(.8), Denmark(2.4), and Vietnam(.6) yet they maintain and have pretty good/large Airforces.

I think the key is spend the money smartly and wisely. I think the top one in my book is Algeria, who has and maintains some 76 Mig-29s, and it looks like it will upgrade them to SMT standard possibly and is looking to buy new Su-30MKs, and Yak-130s. It also has about 17 Mig-25s, around 70 Mig-23s, as well as 10 Su-25s and 32 Su-24MKs(only 10 have been delivered). I say this is very impressive for such a small budget.

Other impressive Airforce seems to be Greece, although it’s budget is very small but it has alot of Western Pricy Equipment. It has some 45+ Mirage 2000s, 20+ Mirage F1s, 125 F-16blk 50/52 and will order the Eurofighter 2000 Typhoon, probably up to 90.

What do you guys think?
