Ok Then,
Following on from Phantom Phixers “critique” 😀 of the new Bond theme, What’s you favourite theme form the past ?
Mine…. well Goldfinger takes a bit of beating, but the instumental from On Her Majesty’s Secret Service is also up there for me.

Best and worst at the same time:
Thunderball
The Man With The Golden Gun.
Both great Barry tunes but ruined by Don Black’s lyrics.

McCartney’s “Live and Let Die” was a brilliant satire of the genre.
It was a satire wasn’t it, Paul?
(With him it’s often hard to tell…):diablo:

I dunno, I didn’t much like the older Bond tracks (although I did like View To A Kill).
My personal favourite was the last one, You Know My Name by Chris Cornell.

Live and let die…no question about it…
…tough the theme in the begining of Life Of Brian is definately the best in “sloppy/banal-overbombastic ballads” cathegory.
