Well for me , best car chase was from the Film ” IT’S A MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD, because the whole film was taken up by it. Putting that aside it was a very funny film, and the scenary on the highways was just superb. A great American film in a wonderful era.

The Dead Pool, Clint Eastwood being chased by an RC Car (with a bomb in it) 😀 😀 😀

Live and let Die. The chase scene on the river in speed boats. Esp the scene where the redneck sherrif J.W.Pepper says to two other cops “Mah brother in law has the fastest boat on the river. He’ll get ‘im” The two cops see a black guy in the boat and look at one another in amazment…..

Ronin, Two Lane Blacktop, The Seven Ups, Vanishing Point, and Pierce Brosnan in Golden Eye chasing the general in the T-72, just to name a few.

French Connection … it was ‘the’ car chase of the times.

The car chase in Diamonds are Forever aint too bad…

what about Terminator 2, ok not cars.. but a Mack tractor unit chasing Arnie on his Motorbike.. great stuff… 😉

I have to admit, I like the chase scenes from The Bourne Identity/Supremacy.
Though Bullitt is very good, as I seen in ‘TVs Greatest cars’, That mustang is very good.

The chase in the Blues Brothers is good, but the best has to be from “Bullitt”.

Steve McQueen did his own driving stunts, too.
