Seeing as Flood is bored and that a great many people on the forum are keen photographers lets see the best photo you have ever taken.

Hardly up to the standards of most here, but some of my favourites of North Devon and Cornwall:
1) Hartland Quay
2) The view from the cliffs at Lynton
3) Duckpool
4) Rockpools at Duckpool
5) Typical Devonshire countryside

My contribution
Hi there,
That could be my first post to the underworld of the general discussion forum. Here are attached a couple of shots from different holidays…not necessary the best photos ever but I really like these.
1. Taken on a recent holiday to Egypt. 6h30 am on the Nile
2. Sun rise in Egypt from an A320
3. During an ice climbing holiday in February
4. Yours truly jumping in the Alps during snowboard holiday
5. Holiday in Cornwall, Tintagel
6. Holiday in Bahamas
Cheers,
Steph

Hi Flood, great shots, you’re an artist with that lens sir, love the shot of Barry Sheen, HE DA MAN, he was a hero of mine as a kid, wish i had got to see him ride. here’s just about the only pic i have that isn’t an aircraft. this is Smudge, someone must have told her that computers have MICE!!!

that last one is cool, Flood. excellent stuff!
Ha – while I was taking that the McDonalds was getting ‘liberated’. In all the fun I walked right past it into Trafalgar Square, got pulled because a ‘friend’ pointed me out to the riot mob as one of the angry brigade (ha bloody ha:rolleyes: ), then got trapped behind the lines for several hours and when I got out all the deputy head boss-pig moron (the guy who denied me a press card because I was only a darkroom technician) could say to me (in front of the whole newsroom) was why the f**k didn’t I get any of the trashed burger bar. Then he took a couple of pix off of PA and stuck my name on them…To$$er.
Post more pix! Not just aeroplanes – this is not just an aeroplane part of the forum! Below is ‘sum more of me crap’ – all of it taken for work. I don’t think I’d better post any named or recognisable faces of members of the public though…

This is my favourite aeroplane photo mind you, just love the shape of that thing from that angle (sniff). 🙁
And what about lovely Oban bay in Autumn…?

I took a great shot of Macy Gray’s a*se once but unfortunately her management confiscated it from my very fingers, or cold dead fingers as they would have preferred ? 😮
Most of my best shots have been of the 25 frames per second variety so it’ll be hard attaching them here.
Some of my favourite behind the lens experiences ought to be made into an ITV1 show called “When rock stars act like d*cks”. Oh I could contribute six series worth and then some. 😀

I wouldn’t say best…
1/ Chris Boardman in the 1999 Prutour (used to be the Milk Race, we were told: successfull product promotion there!!!).
2/ Stirling Moss doing his one-handed-driving-up-the-hill routine, at Goodwoods Festival of Speed in 1997.
3/ The late Barry Sheene is hero worshipped by marshalls after winning a heat at the Goodwood Revival meeting in 1997.
4/ A WPC in riot gear at the entrance to Downing Street, during the May Day Protest in 2000 (yes, the year that Churchills statue was given a grassy make-over).
All taken in the days when I was an eager and enthusiastic amateur (ie not getting paid for it); now that I have the job (and getting paid) it is all grip and grins whilst those higher up the food-chain cherrypick… (Cheering me up?)
Anyway – I’ve shown you a few of mine: lets see yours!

It’s not the best, but it’s the one which makes me smile the most when I’m here at work. Me, Catherine and our aeroplane after I’d flown us to Calais two weeks ago. 🙂
