I have discovered the best de-stress song and it was done by queen………………..If any of you have “made in heaven” it lists 11 tracks when there are actualy 13 listern to track 13 its 22 (ish) minutes of soothing music (there is the odd word by freddie)
its amazing

well changing lead-singer is always difficoult and newer it can win 100% of the fanbase support.
To me it was acceptable, as I was fan both of Queen and Free/Bad Company…IMO this current lineup is best what we could get from that field.

well whats the point of having replacement singer if its only purpose is to sound as close to the orginal?? I mean, that is like trying to fool people to think Freddy still lives. If the rest of Queen want to go on, best way is to renew themselves, and get singer who can stand by his own and bring something new to the sound….and for that Paul Roger is best they could get.
George Michael…….:D 😀 😀 For me, Queen has always been rock band…George Michael:eek: 😮
Fair point,It might make a differance that Queen and Paul Rodger’s are writting new stuff so they can make it there own, then yes I have to agree maybe Paul Rodger’s is the best to do it,BUT the last tour was 95% old Queen stuff and Paul Rodger’s does not do it justice if fact I found some of it painfull to listen too.
But that is just my views.

What ??? You’d rarther have the lead singer from a naff 80’s pop band replacing Freddie, ahead of the singer in not just one but two classic 70’s rock bands !
George Michael wouldn’t know what to do in Queen, I mean how would he cope standing next to a guitar that’s really being played for starters ? 😉 😀
I have to say YES I think his voice is better suited to Queen more than Paul Rodger’s

this is almost has good as Freddie could do and much better than any I have heard Paul Rodger’s do with Queen stuff.
Like I have already said Paul Rogers is a talented singer and songwriter but not in Freddie’s class to be honest not even George Micheal is fit to walk in Freddie’s boots,BUT I think is better suited to singing Queen

I have to agree ,even thought Paul Rodger’s is a talented singer in his own right,IMHO he is not worthy of laceing Freddie’s boots let alown fronting his band.
The only one that could poss replace him is George Micheal ,but thats not going to happen.Paul

Queen without Freddie! Those guys should move on, Paul Rodgers does not light my fire. At least John Deacon new when to call it a day.

I ried to get tickets for the last tour but never did,I obtained the album and I was less them impressed Rodger’s voice is now way near has big as Freddie’s.
Has a fan I would like Queen to carry on and make new stuff, but not like this they are NOT Queen and never will be again, time to call it a day i think
