Before signing off for the end of year break, I’d like to wish you all a happy festive season, and without being too corny, I’ll spare a thought for those who’ll be alone because of professional imperatives, marital break-up, bereavements, or just unfortunate circumstances.

Remember you can at least use the opportunity to swat up on those books you put on the back burner through lack of time…
