Best wishes Alan….

Now i’m about as far away from a Manchester United fan as you could get, i’m a follower of Liverpool, and a season ticket holder at Bradford City (Leeds United big enemies where Alan Smith used to play), but I felt so sorry for Alan Smith in todays game with Liverpool. In case you didn’t know, in todays game he broke his leg and dislocated his ankle.

He always comes across as someone who would give 110% for his team in every game. Now I don’t care how much someone gets paid, or how easy their life is, to see someone in that much pain, who won’t be able to do the thing he loves for a long time, really makes me feel sorry for the bloke.

Fair play Al :).

P.S – And please folks, don’t go posting photos of the incident, I can’t bear to look.

What is this foot-ball?

I know of only one sport to be played in this realm, and that’s RUGBY!!

A proper mans game, not this sissy excuse for a ‘sport’

You’re talking about a Liverpool there! :diablo: Don’t make me come over there! :p

He actually plays well if you observe him for a long period of the match. He certainly is a huge threat to defenders. He wins headers, creates loads of chances, keeps the ball and so on.

And England? They’ve got loads of strikers. Heskey, Owen, Fowler, SWP etc. They’ve got a killer midfield with Gerrard and Lampard, though.

All the best Smithy (not that he’s reading this)

Crouch

a big L O L, this is a (so called) striker who couldn’t score for ½ the season, then scores 6 (or however many) in as many games, then hasn’t scored since new year’s eve, the guy can’t run, he can’t score, he’s a clown, the sad thing is that he will probably be in the England squad for the world cup, WHY? cos we aint got anyone else (that’s the only logical explanation I can think of)

Yeah, that’s unlucky for him. Cisse suffered something similar last season.

On a sweeter note;

I think all true football fans everywhere in the country wish Smudger a speedy and full recovery.

Fair play to you too, Tom.
