Today’s paper carries the obituary for Betty Skelton who died, aged 85, on August 31st, the lady who made the Pitts Special design famous in the late 40s with her L’il Stinker and L’il Stinker Too. She was also (which I didn’t know) equally well known in the States for breaking car speed records.
