Morning all…
Can anybody here throw any light on the history of a tall late war Bf109G/K tail/rudder assembly pictured below which is currently on display in the “Battle of Britain” public house in Gravesend? With the aid of good old Google/Wrecks & Relics etc, I’ve hunted high and low but cannot find any mention of its history, if indeed it is the real thing and not, as I suspect, a replica. These two images were taken by LEMB moderator Clint Mitchell yesterday whilst partaking a quick pint, not sure of what, but a pint of Spitfire would be apt 🙂

Unfortunately only had my 2MP phone camera with me so the photos don’t do much justice but up close and personal this thing looks 100% original. 🙂
