BFP lower mounts

Hi guys
Does anyone know where I could get the two BFP lower mounting brackets? The type used on early Spitfire and others?
The Spitfire type I believe are drawing no. 30034-127. The only ones I can find on places like e-bay are of the “chunky” type that I presume are off later aircraft or types other than Spitfire.

Any help would be much appreciated
Many thanks

Thanks for your reply Jason. I’m sure that a couple of years ago I saw some new made cast ones for sale, the same as in the photo. I’m blowed if I can remember where I saw them. I didn’t need them at the time but I wish I had bought a couple of them now!

Regards

The “chunky” ones as you call them are over sized bare castings and you will need to mill them down to size/shape.
I knew my mate who had some original spitfire ones about 6 months ago surplus to his requirements but not sure if he still has them.

Thanks guys for your replies. The only ones I’ve seen on e-bay and other sellers sites are the, what I call, “chunky” brackets. The ones I am after are the slimmer type as my poor photo. Does anyone know who casts this type?

Cheers Tony.
I think I would prefer cast ones. Hopefully, some of the various people will give me a shout! If not then I will get in touch with Ross.

Thank you Bruce.
It’s the brackets that bolt to the instrument panel. It looks like 4 bolts to the panel and 2 at the bottom that attach them to the top of frame 8 ? Hope this helps.

Can you be more specific? There are two parts to the mount – the fixed bit which bolts to the instrument panel, and the flexible bit, which attaches to that. Or do you need both?
