From what I gather all the Maersk RJ’s were bought as part of a management buy out to form the new airline Duo Airways. Maersk have been a BA franchisee for ten years. As part of the deal BA are letting Duo have so many routes and they will no loger operate as a franchisee.

Love the winglets on the 738!

I hate the 737 design now because it just looks so dated, but add winglets and I really do think it makes them look ‘sexy’ – if thats possible.

I just wish all NGs had winglets, then I’d have a better chance at distinguishing between NGs and 3/4/5 srs.

I saw that Maersk/Duo CRJ200 at Munich yesterday and was wondering about the livery. Are they ending their franchise with BA?

Nice pictures Kev. Its a shame about Maersk Air, their blue livery was one that always stuck out from the crowd, now they just have that dirty looking c/s.

I went to a steam/country show about 1.1/2 miles from LGW, getting a good look a take off and latter on in the day landings to. I forgot the camera though! 😡

Though I did have the binnos with me and managed to get me self 4 new numbers. G-VROS/G-CCMY/G-EZYR/TF-ATC.

And also see my first ever LH 747 and KLM 747… both at 30 something 1000 ft!

Hey Kev, missed you by a day.

I was there yesterday for the DUO, the titles are really bad, you can’t see it from a fair distance, should stand out more.

Like the shots, the Eurocypria colours are great and love the 737’s with winglets!

An interesting version of the Maersk livery. Thought they’d become Duo?
