The Aviation Experience is a viewing area about 50 or so yards long with huge windows overlooking the main runway and some of the parking stands. There are wall displays and a model of the airport. There is also an interactive quiz. Next to this is a seating area using seats from airliners. The best bit is an extensive Ian Allan bookshop. They have a superb range of books and models. They also sell binoculars, scopes and airband radios. It’s worth a visit.
Spotting and photography is best done from outside.
