Well, after being a long time lurker and infrequent poster I thought I’d take the plunge and try my hand with a few shots at BHX today. Weather was fab but heat haze did cause a few issues. Go easy on a first timer… dont quite have the equipment to match some of the shots round here but was pleasantly surprised with some of the results…..

Yep, I spotted you Jon. I was only in the gallery for an hour or so. Was the one in the green top looking like the complete amateur I am 😀 . Still, was happy with what I got first time out.
May try and get down again this weekend weather and time permitting.
These are the last two shots to come out OKish (after a bit of PSP work!). The flybe Dash8 was running engine tests for a good hour beofre heading back over to the maintainence area.

I was at the airport doing work experiance all week and i saw the Volar on push-back and i did get a pic. Were you in the viewing gallery at that time? If you were, i was the one with the Fuji and a black shirt on 🙂

Like the Tristar pic, was hoping to get down to BHX myself today for the Air Finland but couldn’t make it in the end 🙁
