BHX – 30/11/04

Well i finally got up to BHX today, havnt been in about a month so i had to squeeze an few hours in before i went to college 😀
I went with hopes that a CO 764 was arriving today because after viewing the Continental website it said they would it even showed the occupied seats, well i got there and my 😀 went to a 🙁 😡 .
Typical that there sitting at Gates 40 & 41 were two 752s, i still thought that was unusual as the second flight shouldnt arrive till the first one departs or afterwards. Anywho i went to the empty viewing area and saw my first Alitalia EMB-170! :D, the flight was cancelled for some reason so it was sat in front of me for the entire time i was there.
Anyway enough of me talking, here are my pics. Typical bad weather considering we had clear skies yesterday…..

1. Aer Lingus 737 close up
2. BA RJ100 – don’t know what the pilot is doing lol
3. BA RJ100 again
4. BA RJ100 close up
5. Emirates B772 taxing to Gate 41.
6. Flybe Dash-8 (can’t wait to see their 737s next year)
7. Same aircraft taking off
8. KLM Cityhopper F50 (surprise visitor considering they usually send F100s and 737s)
9. Lufthansa A320 on departure from RWY 15.

Where do Alitalia fly to from BHX? MXP?

Yeah they do a twice daily flight to Milan-Malpensa with the EMB-170s, that particular aircraft was sat there for my whole visit, flight was cancelled for some reason. 🙂

‘Bout time two – BHX is shut overnight at the moment for major work, including the construction of a Rapid Exit Taxyway (RET) on 15….ruts in the grass at the end of 15 still bear witness to the last over-run as some poor b*gger (Flybe Dash something wasn’t it?) attempted to expedite clearing in the wet!

Yeah i heard about the overnight work over the scanner, so they are making that taxyway and another RET, Yeah it was a Flybe Dash-8 but i believe a similer situation happend to a BY 763 aswell.

Thanks for the comments everyone…..:D!!!
