This is the report for my spotting at BHX on 30th March 2004. I saw my first aircraft that day as I was arriving near Birmingham International station on the train from York. An Emirates 777 (A6-EMD) flew in on final approach over the train. I went into the Aviation Experience (brilliant spotting facility there!) and spent several hours there, watching, photographing and waiting for a certain arrival and departure:D The weather was bright, but hazy so the photos are not as sharp as I would have liked, but nevertheless I am very impressed with my new digital camera. To all the BHX spotters – you have an airport to be proud of, I shall be returning next year!

For those who have been able to see the pics – thanks for your comments. For those who can’t see them, bear with me and I’ll get the whole lot posted again.

I can’t see any of the pictures!

I can see them all now except the KLM 737, great pics! 😀
They needed a bit of persuasion to show by continually clicking the ‘show picture’ option.

I can only see the first three, Transavia at the gate, Duo getting escorted and SnBrussels about to take-off. 🙁
I should have a bit of time to spend there on the 3rd of June, can’t wait! 😀

The only one I can see is the knuckle rap SNBA RJ. The rest won’t load, despite repeated clicks on ‘refresh picture’; and I can’t even access the URL of the pics, I get this message…

The sight of this carrier never disappoints:D

Europe’s greatest!

Just about to take off for Brussels. Lucky devils.
If the pictures don’t show at first, just right click in the box and select show picture and they should be okay.

The Flybe Dash 8-Q400 again. From the side they look ungainly and badly proportioned, but from the front they look great!

Ryanair’s Boeing 737-200 in Vodafone livery.

What I had been waiting for all those hours! SNBA ARJ arrives from Brussels. I am not sure of the registration, I posted it wrong on another forum and got my knuckles rapped by an SNBA steward, so I will keep quiet!
