I’m up for it

Are you referring to the weather in Spain? If so it’s glorious sunshine & has been for weeks. At midday the temperature gets up to about 34º. Stunning! I’m in the far North of Spain where the weather is frequently cr*p apparetntly so god knows how hot it is in the South at the moment!

So whats the weather like there, it’s sunny now in Birmingham but i can see a big rain clud comin our way!!!
OK we will have to see what everyone else thinks of 5the date i’ve put up and see if we have to amend it.

I would definitely be up for it but I’m still in Spain. I would love to meet up with some of you any time from late September to early October as I’ll be back in uni in Salford and have much more free time.

But maybe some of u are on holiday, i’m goin to LAS on the 28th so it may be at least 2 weeks after that.

There’s never a perfect time in my experience of “meets”. Just stick a date down, be prepared to amend it slightly and see who comes ?

I think the only way to get to BHX from down here is by train (eurgh..). I don’t think anyone flies up there do they? It’s only 100-and-a-bit miles.

I may be up for it depending on dates etc. I was impressed by the Virgin Trains service to Birmingham International when I went to the motorshow, so I may come back for the airport this time.

I’m looking out for the next Fly Be promotion to appear.

Just had a look at Swiss.com for a potential day trip to BHX from Basel, and it’ll only cost 1500 franks (that’s 1048Euros). All I can say is, that fcuk they’re a low cost no frills airline… I’d hate to imagine what it’d cost with a full service airline… :rolleyes:

Needless to say, I won’t be coming unless the prices come down a lot. (for comparisons sake, I payed 470 Franks for my recent BA flights to Glasgow return…)

I’m often in Birmingham at the weekend
