Big-up for the Shuttleworth

On Thursday the Shuttleworth welcomed a gound of 17 people from France on a fact-finding trip. The Shuttleworth team, and the welcome addition of the SVAS, pulled the stops out and the French group spent a very entertaining and informative time.

The group included several decision-makers and the net result will be interesting if and when it happens. There is no immediate benefit to the Shuttleworth other than better communication and co-operation, but that did not stop Old Warden pulling out the all the stops.

They done good!

And there I was thinking that it was rather a good description! Ah well…

Apologies for confusing you and thank you for confirming my suspicions. Once it flies again we can ask the pilot about all those castor oil fumes…
And I really must get my hindermost region over to Old Warden!

Is that a real twiddly castor oil burner on the front of the M1, or do my eyes deceive me?

Excellent news about the M.1,thanks Robbo. For me she’s arguably the best looking of the WW1 types at OW and I’ve never seen her fly, she’s very much something to look forward to for this year. 🙂

Visitors to the Collection will now note that there’s an engine on the Bristol M1c replica. It’ll be very nice to see this lovely plane back in the air.

Rob

Now that is good news 😀
