Does anybody know what the size of FED EX fleet is ????
And are they bigger than United Parcel,route wise and fleet size
Also who is the biggest freight hauler in Europe???

some companies such as fed-ex have contracts with many smaller operators such as Emerald, Bac Express, Channex, Farnair etc to operate a/c on their behalf. Be careful you are getting figures on the AIRLINE Fedex and not the whole COMPANY’s flying programme

I believe they operate also what they call MD10’s
DC10 wretrofitted with MD11 avionics.
They might have 40 of them.

FedEx is much bigger. They have $16,800 Million Annual revenue and employees of 150,00.They have 8 types of aircraft, A300600F,’S A310-200’S, 727-100’S, md-11, Fokker F27-27-500, Fokker F27-600, dc-10 AND dc-10-30’s.
UPS only has $2,150 Million Annual Revenue and 2,150 employees. They have 10 different types of aircraft.

Not sure of the numbers but UPS has a bigger fleet than FedEx. I think in terms of freight movements in Europe its TNT that holds the crown.
