Thanks for the very good photo report Rob, I dont have message posting available on UKAr, good to see the pic contributions on there as its far bigger and more detailed than most magazines which have limited space and shrink pics to postage stamp size sometimes.

Hi it was me that posted it. We were not allowed to take the BBMF Mk1 and could take photos of the 109 but not share them. It had its cowling off, tail in the air and no prop. There is actually a photo of it in their site anyway.

Great place to visit and the No Photo call is I think more to do with the owners of some of the aeroplanes maintained there.
As far as I am aware the 109 had some engine issues that facilitated its return to the engine rebuilders for some tweaks, the 109 is not owned by BHHH and I am guessing the owners want to do a press release at the time of its first flights. Do not blame the owners and I have had a good look over the 109 and its stunning
