For those of you who asked on the Spitfire thread (” now this is low”) to see this video with such acts as the original RNHF trio,Sally B, Bearcat, Vintage Pair(83) MH434, Mosquito(crewed by George Aird & Harry Robins) Pilatus P-2 G-BJAX, BBMF, Vulcan and many others.
Whoever wants to watch it post a reply on this thread, and first to reply also email me your name and address.We can see who wants to watch it,and where its going next. Hopefully as people watch it they will post it to whoever is next on list, then it would be nice if those who have seen it post their thoughts.
Any thoughts or questions ??

Does any one know what the tranmission date of the Biggin Airshow 1982 was. There are ways of getting the footage out of the BBC vaults! I an idea of transmision date helps the searching!

Would love to see it.
I have a video entitled “Sky Spectacular” that consists of 3 short films.
First is called “the display” that is an arty documentary on Manx Kelly (leader of the Rothmans Pitts team)appearing at Biggin Hill BoB display in 1973. As I say arty but great images of the Belgian Slivers F104 duo, Lightning F1A, RAF Phantoms,Vulcan, VC10,Nimrod, Concorde 001, Poachers JPs etc.
Second is “she flies”- the Concorde first flight documentary.
Third is a closer look at the Rothmans team displaying in Spain.
I’d be happy to do the same with this one if anyone is interested.

I video taped the 1982 Biggin Hill Air Fair off BBC at the time. I still have it but the quality is not that good (i was living in Dublin at the time and BBC reception was not that strong). However, some good quality “acts” on show – T-33. Bearcat, Anson, “Ruskin” DC-3 etc.
Wht don’t BBC show airshows any more?
