Biggin Hill Saturday.

Heres a few of Saturdays highlights before the weather ruined the proceedings.

Well, seeing aswe used to ‘do’ airshows together, I’ve no compunction about tagging some of my shots from today onto Septic’s thread.

I thought the static was great, some good flying until it went damp. (it wasn’t even proper rain, just wet!)

I was lucky enough to get decent access to the Do24. The Dornier crew have asked for better access to the crowd for Sunday. So, here’s hoping – (parking problems were why they were stuck there) – Sunday should be better for those of you going!

In an exeptional year, another bizzare highlight was standing on the wing of a Dornier at Biggin Hill watching Spitfires and Hurricanes taxiing past. That’s odd!

I didn’t fancy the video team’s position when the DC-6 went by!

Cheers!

Thanks Tempest Nut.
Rumours suggest they arrived around 7pm, the weather by that stage was perfect here at Kenley, 5mins flying time from Biggin.

Fantastic pics. The F16 shot is awesome! What camera are you using?

It’s a shame that the Do24 wasn’t positioned better for photography. Being positioned in the middle of the apron with the WWI Team etc blocking it there were very few opportunities to get uncluttered pics of it.
