An Open Day at the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar today gave a chance to see all six resident Spitfires.
Most recently complete is the Spitfire I G-CGUK / X4650, sadly covered and cornered:
Awaiting wings is Spitfire LF.XVIE G-PBIX / RW382:
Next in line will be Spitfire LF.IX G-CGYJ / TD314:
Recently returned to the UK is Spitfire LF.XVIE G-MXVI / TE184:
Available for cockpit tours was Spitfire LF.IXC G-BRRA / MK912:
‘Spirit Of Kent’ Spitfire HF.IX G-PMNF / TA805 was airborne with Dan Griffith in command:
Also resident is Cub G-BMKC / 329854:
Harvard G-CTKL / FE788:
