Biggin Hill – Sunday 19th Sept

Never been to Biigin Hill before. Liked the show, but not so keen on the long wait in traffic on the roads outside at the end of the show !

Great to see both the Sea Fury and the Dornier for the first time !!

Lovely shots – thanks for posting. The Dornier landing with the windmill in the background was a nice touch

Regards.

Thanks for that guys (and thanks to Damien B for the tip on where to stand !).

I thought that the Sea Fury was great – a very handsome looking aircraft and well displayed. After all the engine problems, I’m really pleased to see that it’s back on the airshow circuit again.

Some nice shots there both of you, thanks for sharing.

Andrew you said at Old Warden you wanted to see a Sea Fury flying, you didn’t have much longer to wait did you!

Cracking shots

How many years has it been since two large flying boats have been seen in formation over the UK and have British and German ones ever been seen in formation.

Any idea who was flying the RNHF aircraft?

My contribution to the Biggin Thread, I will post some more later but I’ve got around 700 to go through!

Absolutely first class show in all respects, The traffic is always a problem here, I waited until 7pm before I left but it still took me 35 mins to get away from the lanes surrounding the airfield.
