I am trying to track down a decent copy of a photograph of the aftermath of the explosion that occurred when the bomb load of a Lancaster detonated at Binbrook on 3rd July 1943.
There is a rather grainy version of it in the second of the Lancaster at War books (p293 of the version which has volumes 1 & 2) credited to A. E. Marshall. Unfortunately I have had no luck following the route of contacting the publishers and also tried the IWM archive on the off chance.
I’d be most grateful for any ideas.
