I went to the Science museum in London the other day to see the cutaway Spitfire.
I was told that it was only temporary display and it had been removed, that was all I could find out.
Does anyone know what has happened to her or where she will go from here.

It was prepared for the Science Museum by ARC at Duxford around June/July 2005.
I saw it and took some photos during a memorable visit.

I only know she was the gate guard (along with a Lightning) at RAF Binbrook, she was removed when the base closed and put in storage.
What happened to her between then and the science museum and what was her history from birth to gate guard would be interesting to find out.
