If anybody fancies a flight in a Stampe or a Stearman , I can highly recommend Tiger Airways at Gloucestershire Airport (aka Staverton).
They are a small and very friendly outfit who offer a variety of flights , ranging from a quick 20 minute taster to a full hour if you can afford it.
They encourage you to take control of the aircraft even if you are not a trained pilot , and also enjoy demonstrating aerobatic manoevures if desired.
They have a web-site at http://www.tigerairways.co.uk/

Wonder how much it would have been if you had got a flight 😉 😉 😉 😉

That looks about the priciest I found. Can’t recall prices, but I went up to Old Warden on the DH Moth charity day (and didn’t get a flight due to weather). That was £55.

Re: Biplane flights available
Prices look a bit steep to me.
Snapper, wasn’t it you looked into the guys doing Tiger Moth flights at Cambridge? What were they charging?

Twenty minutes in a Stearman GBP 155 with Tiger Airways
Twenty minutes in a Stearman GBP 75 with Touchdown Aero Centre at Old Buckenham.
Hmm, difficult choice huh?
